Following an announcement made by the Prime Minister on 4th January 2020, the whole of England has gone into lockdown until further notice. This means by law you must stay at home and may only leave for permitted reasons set out in emergency Covid-19 legislation. You must not meet anyone indoors who is not part of your household, childcare bubble or support bubble. You may only meet one other person in a public outdoor setting provided you are not accompanied by other members of your household or bubble, except for children under the age of eleven.

The next meeting of the Thurston Parish Council to discuss planning matters will be a virtual meeting to take place on Wednesday 6 January 2021 commencing at 7.00pm. Unfortunately we can’t meet at Thurst as a group! Each Tuesday morning at 10:00 am there will be a FaceTime meeting so we can still meet, albeit via the computer, tablet or phone as we need to make sure we are all ok and give each other encouragement and company in this very trying time.
