Coronavirus – Thurston Parish Council status and updates
The Parish Council is fully staffed but we are following government guidelines which includes cancelling the public session of our parish council meetings, cancelling community engagement surgeries and the Annual Parish Meeting, working from home where we can and assessing all matters on a daily basis.
Update 24 March 2020
The council’s work is continuing during the COVID-19 crisis and effective Wednesday 24 March 2020 the Clerk will be working from home. The Parish Council has already fulfilled its statutory obligations for meetings to the end of the council year (May). However, it is hoping to restart its public meetings as soon as it is possible and it is safe to do so.
