National Highways plan to carry out resurfacing, anti-skid and traffic signal maintenance work on the A14 westbound junction 43 exit slip road. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, smoother and better-defined road surface.
They plan to complete this work over five nights between Monday 10 March and Saturday 15 March 2025. They will work between 8pm and 6am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, they will need to close the A14 westbound junction 43 exit slip road and divert traffic as follows:
Traffic will need to continue westbound on the A14 and take the junction 42 exit slip road. At the Westley Interchange, take the fifth exit and join the A14 eastbound carriageway. Take the exit slip road at junction 43, where the diversion will end.
