National Highways are holding Public Information Events during March.

They will be improving the A14 between Bury St Edmunds and Woolpit. The improvement work will include resurfacing, renewing road markings and replacing road studs (cats eyes), between junctions 43 and 47a. When complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, quieter and smoother road.

They plan to carry out the work in several phases, starting from 15 April 2024 on weeknights only, between 8pm to 6am, subject to weather conditions.

They are inviting you to come along to our engagement events, where National Highways staff will be available to provide information about our ongoing and planned works.

On Thursday 28 March, they will be at Jubilee Hall, Blackthorne Community Centre, Blackthorne Road, Elmswell, IP30 9UH from 1pm to 7pm.

Come along and find out about their planned works on the A14 between J43 (Bury St Edmunds) and J47a (Woolpit) and get an update about their progress re-building the A14 from Haughley to Tothill.
