Hate crime is any crime that are targeted at a person because of hostility or prejudice towards that persons: Race or ethnicity Religion or belief Disability (this may include physical, sensory, learning disability or mental health related disability) Sexual orientation Transgender identity

Hate crime causes great distress to its victims and the wider community.

We believe everyone has the right to feel safe from hate crime.
