For your awareness, Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out pre surface dressing road repairs along U4911 Barrells Road and U4913 Stoney Lane, Thurston.
The works are programmed to take place between 8am and 4pm from 24 to 27 June 2024. During this time, the roads will be closed to ensure the safety of highway users and their operatives.
For the duration of the road closure, through traffic will be diverted via Church Road, Norton Road, Unnamed Road and vice versa.
As they plan roadworks in advance, they schedule extra days to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond our control. If they need to make major changes to their work dates, they will update the information signs on site and their social media channels accordingly.
