Thurston's Neighbourhood Steering Group has developed a strategy which will help to guide the process of community and stakeholder engagement which is needed to produce an informed and relevant community-led Neighbourhood Development Plan for Thurston. It sets out a range of activities and actions that will be taken to draw information from the community in and around Thurston. It is hoped that by effective engagement with local residents, community groups, businesses, and service providers in Thurston and adjoining areas a well-informed plan and a sense of community ownership will be created.
