Don't forget to have your say! If you live in the village, are over eighteen, and registered to vote in local and general elections, you can take part in the referendum.

The question you will asked on the ballot paper is:

"Do you want Mid Suffolk District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Thurston to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Plan Area?"

Why you should vote 'Yes' to support the Plan:
Without the support of local residents, the Plan can not be adopted. We, the residents of Thurston, will have very little say or control over our village's development and facilities. We would be unable to protect the things we value the most and would be rendered powerless to manage future change effectively.

For more information:
Come to the drop-in session in the Parish Council Office, New Green Centre on Wednesday 4th September from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
