Due to the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic caused by the coronavirus, all events and activities taking place this spring have been cancelled or postponed. The end date of 1st June given above should be regarded as indicative, rather than definitive, and will be amended as the situation evolves.

The Benefice of Holy Innocents Church Great Barton and St Peter's Church have suspended all services and gatherings where food is served. Any planned future events have been postponed. Both churches remain open for private prayer.

Cavendish Hall is closed until further notice.

All clubs, groups and organisations that meet in the village have suspended meetings, outings and activities. Some of these organisations have posted information about this suspension on their website: Baby SensoryBlackbourne U3A,  Little City, Rugby Tots, Slimming World, Women's Institute, WW (Weight Watchers)
Public libraries in Suffolk have closed temporarily. Suffolk Libraries and the Friends of Thurston Library have suspended all planned activities and group meetings until further notice. It is not possible to say at this stage when these events will be able to resume.

The coronavirus situation is fast-moving and there is an increasing amount of misinformation online. Please use government advice to inform decisions and be checking that advice regularly.
