Thurston Football Club

We are a friendly, well run club for all ages which prides itself on providing football in a safe and enjoyable environment. We're always looking for new players, coaches and volunteers to help out behind the scenes. Our seniors play on the Cavendish Fields while our younger teams play at Thurston Community College. All teams are managed within the Football Association Framework and to a strict club ethic while having a great deal of fun.

Now in their 40th year, Thurston Rugby Club  continue to run two competitive  teams (plus a Vets side) both of which have enjoyed recent promotion  within their  leagues.
The club play games on Saturdays and welcome the whole community to come, watch and support the Rangers in  their campaign for the season. The clubhouse also benefits from a full stocked bar with guest ales, refreshments and food. We hold lots of different events down at the club, details of which can be found on our website and the venue itself can be hired out for private functions.

If you are interested in  playing, then get yourself down to training with our knowledgeable and experienced coaches where we train to play to a competitive standard whilst enjoying plenty of off pitch fun, ensuring for a great social life!

We welcome players of all ages (over 18), abilities and experience.
