Thurston & District Gardening Club

Lunch Club

In addition to serving a two-course hot meal, we have afternoon coffee and biscuits, raffle, bingo, board games, bring & buy, and book stall. We also arrange outside visits. New members over 55 are most welcome. Potential members may join us for a meal before committing themselves to join. Lifts can be arranged. All lunches must be pre-booked.

Mothers' Union: Great Barton & Thurston

The MU is a worldwide Christian group that welcomes everyone who has been baptised, or wishes to be baptised. MU members are not all mothers, nor even all women. We support charitable projects in the UK and abroad through personal donations and fundraising activities. We are a friendly bunch and welcome new members.

Knit & Natter: Thurston Knitters & Crocheters

If you've never picked up a ball of wool and would like to try your hand at knitting or crocheting, do come along and have a go. We are happy to help beginners. For the more experienced among you, we make items to sell to raise funds for charity. Some examples of our work are pictured on our Facebook page.
